Band and Ensemble Recording
Rooster offers an excellent acoustically controlled space plus iso booth in which to create music. We can accommodate a 4 or 5 piece band, a small ensemble or a number of vocalists. Both the Pro Tools system and Radar V provide up to 24 channels of analogue I/O. We have accommodated a variety of great talent recently and we are always ready for the next project.
Voiceover recording and Post post-production
We have recorded, edited and processed many hours of audio and voiceover work for Podcasts, TV and Film Companies, Museum Installations, Games Production Companies, Audio Books, Corporate Videos, and Tour Commentary. Our microphones and channel strips are of the the highest quality to provide the best possible recordings with minimal noise floor.
Mixing and Mastering
We hold both attended and unattended mix sessions at Rooster, Our control control room offers a precise mixing environment and is fully air conditioned. We use a combination of our high end outboard plus UAD and DSP plugins to create the mix you're looking for. The mix can then be mastered ready for release!

Nick Sykes - Owner:
​The Studio was founded by Nick Sykes in 1981. With a wealth of credits to his name Nick can offer his services and great experience as both producer and engineer.​

Lloyd Jukes - Engineer/Mix Engineer:
Lloyd joined the team in 2016 having come across from neighboring Bush Studios where he was the recording studio manager/head engineer. Credits include Sabrina Carpenter and Jasmine Thompson's 'Sign of the Times' and Fenella Fielding's autobiographical audiobook 'Do you mind if I Smoke?'
